Testing water pH for optimal health

Why would one test the pH of the water we regularly drink?

Because the water most of us drink today isn’t the same as the unpolluted water we drank 100 years ago.

Pollution in today’s world has had a detrimentally effect on water everywhere, including your body’s pH levels if you’re drinking this water!

That’s why testing the pH of the water you drink on a regular basis can lead to huge improvements in your energy levels and the feeling of well-being.

By simply checking the water coming out of your house-hold tap and then checking the water that comes out of your water filter.

You may need to alkalise your water and not even know about it.

Testing water pH

Check the bottled water you buy.

You may just find it’s actually acidic.

Do everything you can to drink alkaline water.

Alkaline water is richer in the alkaline buffers… magnesium, calcium, potassium and sodium than acidic water.

This is the most probable explanation as to why some people who drink water all day still feel thirsty and dehydrated.

It’s not how much water you drink, it’s the water you absorb that matters the most.

The pH of what you drink is important when you consider the function of water in the body.

Water is the basis of all life and that includes your body.

Your muscles that move your body are 75% water.

Your blood that transports all nutrients throughout your body is 82% water.

Your lungs that provide your oxygen are 90% water.

Your brain that is the control centre of your body is 76% water; even your bones are 25% water.

Your health is truly dependent on the quality and quantity of the water you drink!

Every cell in the human body produces acid as by-product of normal cellular function.

The presence of too much acid in the diet may reduce the body’s ability to function correctly (to alkalise itself) and increase the risk of disease.

There are many studies that clearly show an alkaline body (7.0+ pH) provides improved cellular function.

Proper hydration of the body with water (near neutral / alkaline pH – not acidic water) improves the body’s ability to remove the body’s cellular wastes.

The four channels of excretion

When you also take into account that your body requires water available from the cellular level to remove metabolic waste via the four channels of excretion…

  • Respiration
  • Perspiration
  • Urination
  • Defecation

The you’ll get the gist as to why the myriad of health problems we surrender to – weakness, cramping, mental fatigue, headaches (just to name a few), can all be alleviated by drinking water rich in hydrogen ions and the alkaline buffers, magnesium, potasium, calcium and sodium.

The salts are a big key to your health!
