Losing Weight Is The Easy Bit

“Losing weight is the easy bit”, i said.  Well you could imagine the response i received from a group of middle aged women when i said that!

The look of disbelief and possibly even pity for me was well displayed with the look on their faces saying it all.

And in many ways they were all right, yet not right!

You see losing weight is simple; it’s the doing what you gotta do to lose the weight… that’s where the difficulty is found.

That’s why vision is so important!

A vision to see the end point must first be created, thereby giving birth to a beginning.

Firstly your body is mostly made up of water

Accepting this is the starting point to make the process simple.

It’s accepted that your body is made up of about 65-90% water.

That’s as sure as there is the Law of Gravity.

The waters of your body comes in many forms.

It is from water that blood is created.

And it is blood that carries a bounty of nutrients making up most of the body’s mass.

As water is one part oxygen and two parts hydrogen (H2O), putting that one part ingredient together into a percentage amount, that the body is made from about 65% oxygen.

What about the carbon?

The second biggest ingredient that makes up the body (and this is where the choices must meet the vision) is carbon.

Understand that 99% of the physical mass of the human body is made up of just six elements: oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium and phosphorus.

And its carbon that keeps the body falling into a great big puddle of water.

So the big three are…

  • Oxygen (65%)
  • Carbon (18%)
  • Hydrogen (10%)

It reminds me of the times when i was in my teenager years working in the family foundry (Carter Wesco Tools) during my school holidays.

It was impressive to see the big hydraulic presses turning carbon dust into shapes of tools and trailer couplings and then filled with molten steel.

When the steel has cooled, the carbon moulds are simply banged off revealing the shape of the carbon mould and then the carbon is simply put back on the pile to be repressed into moulds.

So it’s little wonder that if carbon can hold molten liquid metal together, it can hold water and a cupful of elements & minerals.

Which returns us to the losing weight bit!

To lose weight we must do two things…

  • First… We must focus on getting more oxygen and hydrogen ions into our body.
Simply put, we must move (walk, exercise etc.) so we can actively increase the amount of oxygen we can pull into the body so the body can use the oxygen to burn fat (remembering that fat is the most concentrated form of energy available to the body).
As for the hydrogen, we must maintain our focus on the hydration aspect by eating more foods that are rich in water content.
  • Secondly… We must minimise our “processed” carbon intake.
The number one reason diamonds are heavy is because they’re made of compressed carbon. Hence we must reduce our intake of carbon or what is called carbohydrates!!!

What are carbohydrates?

What carbohydrates are can be found by looking at the word carbohydrate.

Carbo…carbon.

And hydrates… oxygen & hydrogen.

Surely it’s not just a coincidence that with vegetables and fruits, the bulk of the product is made up of water.

Trying juicing vegetables and fruit and you’ll find the weight ratio of liquid to fibre (carbohydrates) strongly leans the liquid way for the vast majority of fresh produce.

Then try juicing nuts, breads, cereals, rice, pasta and animal products and you’ll find lots of fibre (carbohydrates) and not much juice.

You can eat fats but remember fat is a concentrated energy source so if you already have plenty of fat in the bank so to speak, you have to burn that fat (more exercise) if you wish to eat more fat.

Just by acknowledging the relationship between fat, energy and exercise is a major piece of the puzzle solved.

You don’t want to exercise… minimise processed carbohydrates and fats!

Its as simple as that!

If you’ve already accumulated lots of fat stores, it’s simply because your bringing in carbon and fates ratio is or has been out of balance.

It’s not rocket science

It’s a wise human who knows how to keep their body healthy and knows WHAT TO DO.

The reality is you don’t need to know how it works in an internal cellular way.

The truth is you don’t need to know how the body heals a cut in the flesh for example.

You just have to know what to do!

Most of us know the action we need to produce is to keep the cut clean and protect it until it has healed.

It is your body does the healing!

You don’t need to know “how” the body does the healing.

You don’t need to know how the blood regenerates at a cellular level and how the blood enriches itself.

You just need to know what steps you have to put into action to get the desired results.

In the case of weight loss, it’s knowing what foods to eat that will optimise the rebuilding and regeneration of your blood and then choosing to consume these foods.

The first step to weight loss

Is to MINIMISE ALL PROCESSED FOODS and reduce your processed carbohydrates intake.

Get into the water foods that are rich in oxygen and hydrogen ions (vegetables and fruit).

If you’re not quite sure what hydrogen ions can do for your blood, have a watch of the video on a supplement called MegaHydrate.

MegaHydrate is a clever mans way of mimicking what the creator naturally gives us in RAW water fresh foods.

Losing weight is easy; its putting on weight that is the hard bit!

Love your fat, you’re a lucky human rich in body potential!
